What I’m eating, loving, inspired by, and swooning over this week—————————————————

01. Eating //

My favorite celebratory week of the year is here! Yesterday was our anniversary (3 years!), tomorrow is my birthday, and next week is Thanksgiving — officially marking the beginning of the holiday season. Since we’re going out for my birthday tomorrow night — to Ecco! — we decided to stay in and cook a special meal for our anniversary. We made Melissa Clark’s NYT recipe for Beef Bourguignon; it’s always so incredible. My husband also surprised me with a few small anniversary gifts, including a monthly subscription for the new Le Marke olive oil. So excited about it!

The other night, we took our annual family photo for our Holidays cards using self timer. I loved creating this beautiful, moody scene for the shot, and I loved how they turned out! There can never be too many many taper candles, especially this time of year.

I recently came across Maie, a female-founded wine brand making adorable single-serving bottled wines. With a mission to reduce waste while not sacrificing quality, Maie is perfect for those nights where you want just a glass, and to not potentially spoil a whole bottle. Their whole site is 40% off right now, so it’s a great time to try them out! My case arrives tomorrow — can’t wait!

04. Swooning Over //

I’ve been so captivated by poached pear recipes lately! This time of year seems perfect for their rich crimson color, spiced flavors, and festive nature. Poached pears just making everything look special and celebratory. Eyeing this recipe by Martha!
