What I’m eating, loving, inspired by, and swooning over this week—————————————————

I was SO excited to see Gigi’s, a beloved neighborhood Italian spot in Atlanta, on Eater’s list of Best New Restaurants in America! Gigi’s has quickly become a go-to spot for incredibly unique Italian food, cozy vibes, and amazing tiramisu. I was there last weekend — the new Winter menu items do not disappoint!

To me, Fall and Winter are prime baking seasons. Lately, I’ve been relying on Claire Saffitz, the Dessert Person queen, for inspiration and recipes that never disappoint. For my birthday, I made the Carrot Cake in the book, and for a family Christmas this past weekend, I made the Buttermilk Chocolate Cake. Both were some of the best cakes I’ve ever made! Definitely grab a copy of this book if you’re looking to up your dessert game! It’s a game changer for sure.

Light + Dwell’s thanksgiving table stopped me in my Instagram-scrolling tracks. I love the casual, yet elegant feel of it, use of foraged branches, and that little brown scalloped edge dish is so fun and unique!

Eyeswoon’s red wine poached pear crostata is the crostata recipe you didn’t know you needed! It’s gorgeous red color is the epitome of Holiday festive-ness. I’m making this to bring to a neighborhood Christmas party this weekend!
